Job summary

Contract Professionals, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer to join a team that builds and supports embedded software for a new ground combat vehicle program. The role is 100% onsite and involves the full software lifecycle from requirements to releases.

The ideal candidate has 1–4 years of software development experience and familiarity with Git, C/C++, Python, and mixed OS environments such as VxWorks and Linux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 1-4 years of software development experience.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, and/or Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

• Develop software documentation and code across vehicle domains such as board support, cybersecurity, displays, or downloading.
• Perform software requirements analysis and design using approved tools and standards.
• Develop software code in accordance with established department standards.
• Develop test procedures and perform unit and functional testing of executable software.
• Interface with Systems Engineering and Software Quality; participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Support software releases and hardware/software integration.
