Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Site Construction Manager to lead on-site field operations at client project sites across the United States. You will manage safety, quality control, scheduling, and contract administration while representing the company to clients.

This 100% field-based role requires coordination with Project Construction Managers on large projects and may cover multiple scopes/subcontractors. Travel is extensive, and strong documentation and reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Ensures work follows project schedule and reports delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Writes daily and quality inspection reports; takes progress photos and organizes records.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering or related

Associate degree in Construction Management or related

High school diploma or equivalent with 12 years of relevant experience
