Job summary

IHI Terrasun Solutions Inc. is seeking a Field Services Technician to support ITS systems in the Nevada desert and at customer sites.

The role involves installation, maintenance, repair, and hands-on troubleshooting of energy storage products, with 5%+ travel to sites and a focus on customer satisfaction. Based in Moapa Valley near Las Vegas, NV, the position is salaried, non-exempt, with overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

Experience in field engineering & services in electrical power equipment or energy space.
Experience with industrial electrical equipment and work.
Proven ability to exceed goals and collaborate with engineering & sales.
Self-directed, detail-oriented, organized and flexible.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
Willingness to work with customers and travel as needed.
Willingness to work overnight shifts and on holidays/weekends.
Degree in EE/ME/CS or similar technical field.
Knowledge of utility-scale battery applications.
Knowledge of renewables inverter and DC-DC operation/maintenance.
Demonstrated customer-focused problem solving.

Responsibilities

Commission (validate and verify), perform preventive maintenance, and repair energy storage systems.
Provide technical consultation and product support to technical and commercial teams.
Communicate customer feedback to Engineering and Sales.
Provide technical support for fault isolation and troubleshooting.
Travel to and remain at assigned job sites until tasks are completed.
Ensure excellence in all operational areas.
