Job summary

Otovo SRL is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and repair residential and commercial solar energy systems, battery storage, and generators. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and commission systems while ensuring safety and high customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on electrical work, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather at customer sites in Las Vegas and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electrical experience and solid NEC knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
• Comfortable traveling locally and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair solar panels, inverters, batteries, generators.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections of energy systems.
• Commission new systems and upgrades per NEC/AHJ rules.
• Use diagnostic tools and document service reports with photos.
• Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout and PPE.
• Respond to emergency service calls and warranty repairs.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and customers on status.
• Represent Otovo professionally at customer sites.
