Silent-Aire, a division of Johnson Controls, seeks an engineering technician with authoritative knowledge of large-scale mechanical and infrastructure systems for mission-critical facilities. You will split time between field customer interfacing and working with manufacturing teams to optimize products, while partnering with design, QA and engineering to provide practical feedback.

Read electrical, control and mechanical drawings, install components, troubleshoot HVAC and PLC-based controls,

Qualifikationen

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of cooling/refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Knowledge of electrical and solid-state control systems.
• Knowledge of safety practices and building codes.
• Customer service skills.
• Experience with start up and commissioning at customer facilities.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and schematics.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and work from heights.

• Read and interpret electrical, control and mechanical blueprints.
• Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components.
• Troubleshoot PLC-based Custom Controls.
• Collaborate with design, quality assurance and manufacturing teams.
• Travel to field sites and support customer installations.
