Silent-Aire, a division of Johnson Controls, seeks an engineering technician for data center projects. You will read blueprints, install refrigeration components, and troubleshoot PLC-based controls while collaborating with design, QA, and manufacturing teams.

Field startup, commissioning, and customer-site travel are required. You must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of cooling/refrigeration systems.

• Authoritative knowledge of large-scale mechanical/infrastructure systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with field startup and commissioning at customer sites.

Mansioni

• Read and interpret electrical, control, and mechanical blueprints and specifications.
• Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components using hand and power tools.
• Measure and lay out reference points for installation; solder/weld piping as needed.
• Start up systems and test for leaks; recharge with refrigerant and calibrate regulators.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/refrigeration equipment and PLC-based controls.
• Communicate technical issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
