Position Overview:
  • Term: 1+ year
  • Location: Remote (100% travel)
  • Pay: $30.00 - $37.00; commensurate with experience
  • Hours: Standard business hours
Role Description:

Our Field Services Team delivers value by creating long-term customer relationships through effective communication and problem-solving. As a first-line responder, you will engage with customers to identify solutions, organize and triage issues, and proactively address potential problems. Formal training will support you in providing timely and effective service.

Responsibilities of the Field Services Technician:
  • Adding or removing non-powered equipment hardware
  • Adding or removing wiring and connections (on non-working equipment and switchboard cables)
  • Leading verification and continuity testing
  • Analyzing job specifications and drawings
  • Understanding Scope of Work (SOW) and drafting Job Change Order (JCO) summaries
  • Providing work assignments to Skill Level 1 and 2 Installers
  • Preparing Method of Procedure (MOP)
  • Writing Job Information Memorandums (JIMs)
  • Resolving issues related to job specifications and drawings
  • Updating office record drawings
  • Conducting quality inspections during and after job completion
Candidate Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and RealID/Passport for travel
  • At least 25 years old
  • Proficiency with PC, basic electronics, and familiarity with specific hardware and OS
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including driving long hours
  • Availability for rotating and weekend shifts
  • Ability to lift tools, parts, and equipment up to 75 lbs. alone, 150 lbs. with assistance
  • Physical ability to perform bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and manual manipulation
  • Willingness to obtain various certifications
  • Basic hand tools (screwdrivers, crimpers, pliers, etc.)
