Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an entry-level team member to address customer-site construction issues, assess workmanship and product quality, and coordinate repairs or replacements. You will report findings to the Customer Service team and help ensure efficient, cost-effective solutions.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, basic math, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems. Training is provided, and the environment blends field and office work with driving to customer locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; on-the-job training available.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and assesses the condition of workmanship and products at the customer site and reports findings to Customer Service.
• Recommends replacement or repair of defective products based on efficiency and cost guidelines.
• Negotiates and approves third‑party repair or adjustments; inspects completed work for quality adherence.
• Plans and prioritizes work to meet daily, weekly, project, or team productivity goals.
• Follows safety procedures and participates in safety meetings; may suggest safety improvements.
• Other duties may be assigned.
