Job summary

Pride Global is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for complex electro‑mechanical and electronic equipment at customer sites. The role will travel to customer sites across Chandler/Phoenix, AZ; Austin, TX; and Tualatin, OR, ensuring equipment reliability and minimal downtime.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree and strong diagnostic skills, with the ability to read schematics and manuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or related technical field.
• Experience with installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of complex equipment systems.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics and manuals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently for customer projects.
• Flexibility for overtime or on-call support.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and startup services for complex equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues to component level and minimize downtime.
• Conduct diagnostics and root cause analysis to resolve malfunctions.
• Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and relocations.
• Maintain service documentation and maintenance records.
• Coordinate service activities with customers and internal teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to provide installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for complex electro‑mechanical and electronic equipment at customer sites. This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and delivering high‑quality technical service in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting abilities, experience working with advanced equipment systems, and the flexibility to travel and support customer operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and startup services for complex electro‑mechanical and electronic equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to the component level and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
• Conduct diagnostics and root cause analysis to resolve system malfunctions
• Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and relocations
• Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and maintenance records
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to coordinate service activities
• Develop and implement customer response and action plans
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers when needed
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and operational standards
• Participate in ongoing technical training and certification programs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field
• Experience in installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of complex equipment systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work in controlled or technical environments requiring personal protective equipment
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently based on customer and project needs
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime or on‑call support when required
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting semiconductor, manufacturing, automation, or industrial equipment
• Experience performing field service, equipment commissioning, or technical support
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar business software tools
• Experience mentoring or training junior technical staff
• Experience working in customer‑facing technical service environments
