Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a Service Coordinator/Dispatch to organize and manage the workflow of field technicians in our Salt Lake City office. The role emphasizes customer service, scheduling accuracy, and efficient communication with clients, managers, and contractors.

The position requires 1–3 years in the industry or related customer service, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to multitask under deadlines while maintaining professional relationships with providers

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of industry experience or related customer service required.
• Previous administrative experience preferred.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for clients, answer phones and track clients’ service records.
• Assess the needs of clients and connect them with the correct provider.
• Create and maintain a directory of providers and resources.
• Create and maintain a database of clients and client needs.
• Bill completed service SRs for local accounts.
• Order materials needed for the required service.
• Interact with clients who are not satisfied, resolving conflicts professionally.
• Evaluate service quality and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain relationships with providers and clients to grow the customer base.
• Monitor services and stay updated on new or discontinued services.
• Answer phones and respond to email inquiries in the office.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
