Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Field Services Engineering Specialist to support USPS MTSC in Norman, OK. The role covers installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance for USPS automation equipment and requires developing procedures and life cycle support documentation.

The candidate will train employees, analyze failures, draft technical instructions, and coordinate with customers while traveling for training and site visits. Public Trust clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial equipment automation repair or related field.
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and related electrical/mechanical systems.
• Ability to obtain USPS Public Trust clearance; willingness to travel for training and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Determine and recommend which products or services best USPS customer needs.
• Become familiar with USPS equipment servicing and engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Rely on experience and judgement to guide, plan and facilitate equipment maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
• Lead and direct the work of others.
• Draft and update technical documentation for machinery based on engineering and COTS information.
• Verify and validate documentation against engineering/COTS sources.
• Interface and coordinate with internal and external customers to resolve equipment and system problems.
