Job summary

Everforth ECS in Norman, OK is seeking a Field Service Technician/Documentation Specialist to install, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment in our Norman office. The role develops maintenance and safety procedures and creates lifecycle support documents based on engineering and vendor information.

You will train staff, communicate technical guidance, and coordinate with customers to resolve issues, with travel for training and site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field experience or related area.
• US citizen or Green Card holder and must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Willing to travel for training, site visits, and related business needs.
• Experience drafting or updating technical documentation for machinery; ensure clear, accurate instructions.
• Experience with maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of machines/systems (mechanical, electro-mechanical, electrical, electronic). Knowledge of PLC systems.
• Ability to communicate technical guidance and failure analysis to support maintenance customers.
• Ability to interface with customers to resolve equipment issues.
• Understanding of life-cycle support methodologies.
• Basic industrial control/systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains products/equipment.
• Develop procedures and processes to prevent potential equipment issues.
• Develop life cycle support documentation based on engineering, COTS information.
• Determine and recommend products/services to fit customer needs.
• Lead and direct work of others when required.
