Job summary

Mitutoyo America Corporation seeks a Field Service Training and Support Supervisor to manage trainee programs and provide technical assistance to field service technicians and customers for CMMs, Quick Vision, and Linear Scales. You will develop procedures for new hires in line with A2LA requirements.

This full-time role includes on-site and phone coaching, audits of technicians, and collaboration with the Technical Support Department.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Form, Vision, and CMM product lines.
• Provide telephone support to field service technicians, customers and distributors regarding installation, operation, repair, and calibration of CMMs, QV, Form products, linear scales and other instruments.
• Develop and implement a quality training program to ensure conformity to quality standards.
• Perform audits of field service technicians to ensure on-site performance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage Field Service trainee training and technical support to Technicians.
• Recommend, develop, and implement training policies and procedures for new hires.
• Provide telephone and onsite support for technical questions and problems; act as expert advisor.
• Coach Technicians and Trainees to improve proficiency.
• Interface with Technical Support to resolve hardware/software issues and document updates.
