Job summary

Mitutoyo America Corporation is seeking an Application Engineer in City of Industry, CA to support customers, sales teams, and distributors with software demonstrations, technical consulting, training, and application support.

The ideal candidate will have at least an associate or technical degree, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to travel up to 50%. This on-site role offers a competitive salary and growth opportunities within a leading metrology provider.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical degree or equivalent specialized training.
• Minimum of one year of related technical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Experience with metrology equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer applications and technical requirements for PMI, CMM, Form, and Vision Measurement products.
• Recommend software solutions and assist with developing application parameters to meet customer needs.
• Conduct software demonstrations, training sessions, and technical presentations for customers and internal personnel.
• Provide software and application support by troubleshooting issues and assisting with problem resolution.
• Support sales efforts by participating in customer visits and assisting distributors with end-user sales calls.
• Maintain accurate customer and activity records within the CRM system.
