Job summary

Mettler-Toledo is seeking a Field Service Technician to support Safeline X-Ray, Safeline Metal Detectors, Hi-Speed Checkweighers, and CI Vision machines at customer sites. You will perform start-ups, audits, maintenance, repairs, and training while following MT-PI procedures and safety requirements.

Responsibilities include attending tier calls, scheduling effectively, submitting comprehensive reports, maintaining tools, and ongoing technical training.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to follow MT PI procedures.
• Ability to prepare accurate service reports and documentation.
• Willingness to travel and work weekends/after-hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Satisfy all Safety Requirements for MT-PI and Customer Sites.
• Attend tier calls led by a Regional Service Manager.
• Efficiently execute scheduled service calls with cost and time considerations.
• Develop and maintain good customer relationships; become trusted advisor.
• Identify root cause of service issues (first time fix).
• Accurately complete and submit service reports and documentation.
• Keep up with ongoing technical training.
• Weekend/afterhours work as required based on workload.
• Maintain company supplied equipment, tools, and inventory.
