Job summary

Mettler-Toledo is seeking a Field Service Technician to support and train customers on X-Ray, metal detectors, checkweighers, and vision systems. You will coordinate with dispatch, prepare reports, and ensure safety on MT PI sites.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, an electronics/engineering tech degree, and strong problem solving, communication, and time management skills. Travel and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in Electronics or Engineering Technology, or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide field service support including start-ups, audits, maintenance, repair, and training of X-Ray, Metal Detectors, Checkweighers, or Vision machines.
• Manage communications between customers and service department, schedule effectively, and prepare detailed reports.
• Attend tier calls with Regional Service Manager and complete service reports in a timely manner.
• Maintain company equipment, tools, and inventory; adhere to MT PI procedures and best practices.
