Job summary

Renewal by Andersen is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and resolve warranty-related issues on windows and doors at homeowner sites. Travel to customer locations, perform advanced repairs, and communicate solutions clearly while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of residential systems, independent troubleshooting ability, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• 4+ years of experience in window/door installation, carpentry, construction, remodeling, service, or related trades preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential window and door systems and installation practices.
• Excellent communication skills with homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair warranty-related issues involving windows, doors, hardware, trim, and related components.
• Troubleshoot product performance concerns, installation-related deficiencies, air leakage, water infiltration, and other service issues.
• Perform advanced repairs, including component replacement, adjustments, resets, and corrective service work.
• Collaborate with Installation, Operations, Customer Care, and other internal teams to improve homeowner experiences.
• Document service activities, photographs, repair details, and outcomes accurately through electronic systems.
