Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a field service technician to perform calibration and preventative maintenance on Retail Weighing Equipment. You will install and repair alongside experienced team members, with mentorship and resources provided.

You should have 1–3 years electro/mechanical repair or weighing industry experience, plus basic PC networking and Microsoft Office skills. A valid driver's license and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or 5 years relevant experience.
• 1–3 years electro/mechanical repair or weighing industry experience.
• Demonstrated skill in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations and preventative maintenance on Retail Weighing Equipment per METTLER TOLEDO procedures.
• Configure PC networking and software as required.
• Update and ensure data integrity of the service database.
• Assist Scheduling Analyst and Service Support Team as needed.
• Resolve first-line customer concerns and assist with invoicing issues when applicable.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality policies.
• Complete daily paperwork on company-issued Laptop PC.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers, sales, technicians and leaders.
• On-call rotation is required to support MT customer base.
• Willingness to travel up to 10–25% and overtime 10–25% as needed.
