Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is hiring a Field Service Technician to service floor and bench scales at customer sites across the assigned region. You will perform maintenance, calibrations, and basic repairs, while representing the company professionally at client locations.

You will document work, train end users, and collaborate with Scheduling, Service Support, and sales to meet uptime and response goals. Travel up to 25% is required; safety and quality policies apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• 1–3 years of electro/mechanical repair or weighing industry experience.
• Customer-facing or field service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on industrial weighing equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and support installations and repairs with experienced technicians.
• Provide end-user training on equipment usage and care.
• Document work performed using service software and maintain records.
• Coordinate with Scheduling, Service Support, sales and other technicians to meet uptime targets.
• Maintain the company vehicle and inventory in a clean, organized, compliant manner.
• Identify service or product needs and submit sales leads as appropriate.
• Follow all safety and quality policies for a safe work environment.
