Xylem is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site service at customer locations in Milpitas and surrounding sites. The role emphasizes safety, efficient field work, and proactive problem-solving.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment, conduct preventative maintenance, and manage parts inventory while adhering to company safety standards. Local travel is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain CDL Class A or B with endorsements.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical card and customer clearances.
• Clean driving record.
• 0-2 years of technical work experience; 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service activities at customer sites safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot systems and conduct preventative maintenance.
• Manage parts inventory and safety issues.
• Travel locally on a daily basis.
