Job summary

PepsiCo PBNA seeks a skilled technician to install, set up, repair and maintain vending, cooling and fountain equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, determine repairs, and work independently with frequent customer contact.

The role involves lifting, kneeling and climbing; some machines can be very heavy. Candidates should have a CDL if required, refrigeration certification, and the ability to pass DOT requirements. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable)
• Pass DOT Physical and DOT Road-test (if required)
• Adhere to DOT Regulations
• Senior technician requires refrigeration certification Type I/II

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending, cooling and/or fountain equipment
• Unload and reload with products as necessary
• Install equipment by making holes and route lines to connect products to dispensing unit
• Fill installed equipment and adjust to proper mixture
• Drive to location, evaluate situation and perform necessary work
• Maintain parts inventory on service truck
• Establish positive relationship with contacts at service calls
• Complete paperwork on each call and every two hours
• Transport miscellaneous items as needed
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance
