Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a skilled service technician to install, set up, repair and maintain vending, cooling and fountain equipment at customer accounts. You will diagnose problems, decide best repair or replacement, and work independently with frequent customer contact.

Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, unloading and loading products, installing equipment, routing lines, and coordinating service calls to meet customer windows.

Qualifications

• CDL license or ability to obtain; adherence to DOT rules.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations relevant to commercial driving.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending and related equipment.
• Unload and reload with products as necessary.
• Install equipment by connecting lines and utility supplies.
• Prioritize and schedule service and PM calls to meet customer service windows.
• Drive to locations and perform repairs (plumbing, electricity, refrigeration, carpentry).
• Collect accurate and complete equipment and customer information.
• Maintain parts inventory on service truck.
• Establish positive relationships at service calls.
