Job summary

CopyPro, Inc. in Wilmington, NC is seeking a dependable Field Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair copiers and related office equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, install and test equipment, and maintain service documentation. A strong customer focus and clear communication are essential.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, company-provided vehicle, and ongoing training with opportunities for growth. Copier experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems using a logical, systematic approach.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid NC driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift and maneuver equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair copiers, multifunction printers, and related office equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, and basic networking issues.
• Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Install, configure, and test equipment as assigned.
• Maintain accurate service documentation, including repairs, parts usage, and service time.
• Manage assigned parts inventory and maintain an organized service vehicle.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding equipment issues, repairs, and resolutions.
• Work collaboratively with customer support, technical support, and fellow technicians.
• Participate in manufacturer training, certification programs, and ongoing technical development.
• Meet established service performance and customer satisfaction standards.
