Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a dynamic Field Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair all makes of material handling equipment at customer locations. The Field Service Technicians will service, troubleshoot, and repair all makes of material handling equipment at customer locations.

Prior mechanical work experience is preferred. Raymond West is committed to providing our customers with end-to-end warehouse solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years breakdown/service experience; or equivalent education and experience.
• Raymond Level 1 certification or working toward that goal.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment at customer locations serviced by Raymond West.
• Update training and skills on a continuing basis.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Maintain a profitable billing level.
• Follow all Service Department procedures.
• Communicate with Field Supervisor and customers.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Coordinate options with customers before work.
• Ensure tools and vehicle are properly maintained.
• Maintain inventory as applicable.
• Represent the company professionally.
• Maintain driving record per company policy.
• Establish rapport with customers and colleagues.
• Travel as required to assigned territories.
