Job summary

Raymond West in Sacramento, CA is seeking a dynamic Field Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair material handling equipment at customer sites. You will work independently yet be part of a collaborative service team, with a company van and gas card provided.

This role requires mechanical aptitude, safe work practices, and strong communication to advise customers and coordinate with the Field Supervisor. Travel is daily within assigned territories.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years breakdown or service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair all Raymond West equipment sold and serviced.
• Update and maintain training/skills continually.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Maintain profitable billing levels and accurate paperwork.
• Communicate options to customers before proceeding with work.
• Have necessary tools for repair and scheduled service work.
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and inventory when applicable.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
