Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a dynamic Field Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair all makes of material handling equipment at customer locations. You will work independently while collaborating with the Service team, and you may travel within assigned territories with a company vehicle and fuel card.

The position requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 3 years breakdown or service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years breakdown/service experience; or equivalent education/experience.
• Must be able to travel within assigned territories and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Repair all types of equipment Raymond West sells and services.
• Update training and skills on a continuing basis.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Maintain a profitable billing level.
• Follow all Service Department procedures.
• Communicate with assigned Field Supervisor.
• Complete all paperwork in a timely, neat, accurate manner.
• Communicate options to customers before proceeding with work.
• Have the necessary tools to perform repair and scheduled service work.
• Complete jobs within quoted time limits when applicable.
• Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle.
• Represent the entire company at all times.
• Pass Raymond Certification and re-certification if applicable.
