Job summary

Vertiv is hiring a Field Service Technician to service UPS and power distribution units. The role involves on-site, on-call and remote support, with travel required and full training provided. You will support Edge market customers, maintain safety standards, and perform administrative duties as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• ASEET/AMEET preferred or in progress.
• Military technical experience welcomed (2–4 yrs).
• 0–2 yrs in relevant industry acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks per company policies and procedures.
• Provide on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on issues.
• Implement Field Change Notices as published.
• Stay current on Safety Bulletins and Field Change Notices.
• Complete administrative and inventory tasks per guidelines.

Education

High School or Vocational School Diploma

ASEET or AMEET, or progress towards

2-4 years military experience in a related technical field

0-2 years of relevant industry experience
