Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and break-fix service on Small to Medium UPS, Power Distribution Units, and Battery systems for Edge market customers. You will build strong rapport with customers and coworkers while delivering on-site and phone support as trained.

Travel is required with flexible schedules; experience with electrical test equipment and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Vertiv software is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or vocational training required.
• ASEET/AMEET or progressing towards are preferred.
• 2-4 years military or related technical experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and remedial service on UPS, PDU, and battery systems.
• Establish and maintain rapport with customers and colleagues.
• Provide on-site and phone assistance as trained.
• Communicate with Technical Support on issues.
• Adhere to safety and field-change guidelines.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reporting.
