Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform scheduled and remedial service on Small to Medium UPS and Power Distribution units. The role emphasizes customer rapport, on-site and phone support, and adherence to safety and company policies.

Candidates should have related technical experience, strong communication skills, and be capable of working under supervision or independently after training. Travel and flexible schedules are required.

Qualifications

• ASEET or AMEET, or progress towards, is preferred.
• High School or Vocational School Diploma
• 2-4 years military experience in a related technical field
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and as per company policies and procedures
• Capable of working under direct supervision or independently based upon training completion
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers
• Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues
• Implement Field Change Notices per published guidelines
• Keep current on Safety Bulletins, Safety Field Change Notices, Field Change Notices, and Service Tips
