Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform service on Small to Medium UPS, Power Distribution Units and Battery systems in customer sites. Travel is required to service Vertiv’s Edge market and provide on-site and remote support.

You will follow safety guidelines, complete administrative tasks, and strive for first-time fixes while maintaining strong customer rapport and working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent and related technical background.
• Background in electrical/electronic test equipment is preferred.
• Experience in the field or military service is considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks on UPS, PDUs and battery systems per policy.
• Provide on-site and phone support to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on issues.
• Implement Field Change Notices per guidelines.
• Maintain safety guidelines and documentation.
