Job summary

Vertiv Field Service Technician role involves on-site service and break-fix of Small to Medium UPS, Power Distribution Units, and Battery systems, with Edge-market customers including retail, financial, and municipal sectors.

You will establish and maintain excellent customer rapport, perform tasks per policy, and communicate with Technical Support while ensuring safety and compliance on every visit.

Qualifications

• ASEET/AMEET preferred or in progress
• High School or Vocational School Diploma required
• 2–4 years military experience in a related technical field preferred
• 0–2 years of relevant industry experience applicable to field service
• Strong interpersonal and administrative skills; professional communication
• Ability to manage time and balance technical tasks with admin duties

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per company policies
• Work under supervision or independently after training
• Provide on-site and phone assistance to customers
• Coordinate with Technical Support on issues
• Implement Field Change Notices per guidelines
• Stay updated on Safety Bulletins and Field Change Notices
