Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Service Technician in Peoria, IL to troubleshoot and service security systems, including burglar, fire, CCTV, and Card Access. You will coordinate with authorities and provide high-level customer service from a field location.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
3-4 years’ experience installing and inspecting Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line.
Experience with Card Access, CCTV/IP cameras.
Excellent communication skills; electrical/electronic background; valid driver’s license; Hirsch certificate.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair and replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and Card Access systems.
Coordinate inspections and installations with police, fire departments, or other agencies.
Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility runs efficiently, including upsell opportunities.
Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
