Job summary

Schneider Electric’s Field Service Representatives support power distribution and critical power infrastructure with on-site service, repair, and preventive maintenance. The role involves problem solving for customers, coordinating with partners, and maintaining service documentation.

The position is site-based with occasional overtime and travel to customer sites across the region. Training and benefits are provided, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, trade certification, Military training or similar experience in electrical disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Understanding of AC/DC power and related components.
• Experience in field service repair and customer service (UPS, power distribution, switchgear, ATS, PDU).
• Experience in Field Services or equivalent industry.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Solve problems with customers, electricians, sales partners, technical support, District Service teams.
• Complete field service reports and expense reports; maintain startup data sheets.
• Collaborate with Manager/Regional Service Director to resolve escalated issues.
• Engage in ongoing training on products in field and classroom.
