Job summary

Motan Group is seeking a field service technician to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, and control systems on plastics handling equipment. You will troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and communications, perform preventive maintenance, and document service reports.

Domestic travel is ~30% with no weekend work. A high school diploma or technical certification and a valid driver's license are required, along with reading electrical schematics and strong customer-facing

Qualifications

Experience with plastic resin handling systems (vacuum conveying, drying, dosing & mixing).
2 to 5 years working with similar equipment.
High school diploma or technical certification.
Valid driver's license.
Reading electrical schematics.
Troubleshooting electrical and pneumatic issues.
Active listening to understand customers’ needs.
Customer relationship building.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, and control system issues.
Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, sensor, and communications-related problems.
Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service.
Analyze equipment performance and implement corrective actions.
Document service activities and provide detailed service reports.
Support customers by phone, email, and remote diagnostics when appropriate.
Train customer personnel on equipment operation and maintenance.
