Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site service, troubleshooting and repairs of industrial machinery across customer facilities. The role requires hands-on experience with PLCs, three-phase motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics, and involves significant travel with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

3+ years of Field Service Technician experience in engineering or related field.
Extensive knowledge of PLC, three-phase motors, machinery repair, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics.
Proven maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
Strong technical and mechanical skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and calm under pressure.
Customer-facing communication with non-technical clients.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for fieldwork.
Must live within one hour of a major airport.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment including PLCs, motors, drives, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Diagnose malfunctions using diagnostic tools and methods.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients.
Keep accurate service records of maintenance activities.
Adhere to safety regulations during field operations.
Collaborate with engineering to improve machinery efficiency.
