Job summary

MC Machinery Systems, Inc. is seeking an Automation Field Service Technician to repair, troubleshoot and test complex industrial automation systems at customer sites. This role is 100% travel Monday through Friday, with travel mainly within the US; national travel is possible.

Services are provided on-site and via phone when situationally appropriate. The responsibilities include installing wiring, modifying machinery, updating software, PLC control programming, and ensuring safe operation for

Qualifications

• Associates or technical degree preferred.
• 1-2 years electrical and mechanical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and connect all components to create one system.
• Install wiring and perform mechanical modifications and troubleshooting.
• Updating software, programming PC bases and PLC controls.
• Operate and adjust system before anchoring to the floor.
• Instruct customers on operations and maintenance.
• Connect and install all safety fences, switches, lights, and ensure operators understand them.
• Prepare weekly expense reports and paperwork.
