Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our service team. The role focuses on proficient repair and service of customer equipment, maintaining strong customer relationships, and representing the company in all activities.

The position requires field travel, adherence to safety guidelines, and the ability to meet productivity goals managed by the Service Supervisors. We provide opportunities to work with lift trucks, racking, conveyors, and related warehousing solutions, with

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Excellent Organizational Time Management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft office Suite and similar software.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Repair all types of equipment that Raymond West sells and services.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Maintain a profitable billing level.
• Follow all Service Department procedures.
• Communicate with assigned Field Supervisor.
• Complete all paperwork transactions in a timely, neat, accurate and orderly fashion.
• Communicate all options to customers before proceeding with work.
