Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our service team. The technician will repair and service customer equipment, maintain strong communication with customers and management, and uphold Raymond West standards in safety and productivity.

The role involves travel within assigned territories, potential overtime, and representing the company with a professional, hands-on approach. A strong background in electrical and mechanical systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years breakdown experience or comparable service experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair all types of equipment Raymond West sells and services.
• Update training and skills on a continuing basis.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Maintain a profitable billing level.
• Follow all Service Department procedures.
• Communicate with assigned Field Supervisor.
• Complete paperwork in a timely, neat, accurate manner.
• Provide options to customers before proceeding with work.
• Keep necessary tools for repair and service work.
• Complete jobs within quoted time limits when applicable.
• Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle and work area.
• Maintain an accurate parts inventory if applicable.
• Pass Raymond Certification and recertification if applicable.
• Maintain knowledge of customers and equipment in assigned areas.
