ABB is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair LV/MV drives for wind applications both onshore and offshore. You will coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 7 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED with 9 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field and 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge in LV and/or MV Drives, power electronics, motor drives, AC/DC converters, computer network communication protocol, and theory of operation.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time and work long hours, including 12+ hours, on short notice for extended periods; 7–21 day travel rotations.

Responsabilités

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, and repair ABB LV and MV VFDs for land-based and offshore wind.
• Coordinate activities with related groups to efficiently achieve objectives and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare spare parts, test tools and equipment, and document activities.
• Identify new service business opportunities for ABB in collaboration with customers and teams.
