Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and service drive and power systems at customer sites. You will troubleshoot on-site and provide remote support, while leading on-site project tasks and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with offshore field service or shipboard environments preferred.
• Travel up to 85% and ability to board vessels offshore.
• Security clearance eligibility for DoD projects.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission drive and power systems at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot on-site and perform remote support as needed.
• Lead on-site project tasks and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify service opportunities for parts, training, and upgrades.
• Prepare service reports and maintain documentation.
• Work offshore and during peak periods may require extended hours.
