Formación

• High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of technical work experience.
• Associates Degree and 5 years of technical work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of technical work experience.
• Understanding of AC and DC drive systems.
• In lieu of bachelor's degree, 5 years of experience and 3 years field service engineering for AC/DC drive systems; experience with test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Data Loggers, PDMA motor testing, CMC).
• Must be able to analyze and test system hardware and software performance.
• Work authorization to work in the US.
• Must be available 24/7; up to 80% travel.
• Ability to write detailed technical field service reports.
• Comply with ABB and customer safety requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Installation supervision according to manufacturer specifications at customer sites.
• Interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and software tools; repair equipment with electronic knowledge and test instruments.
• Lead workers in servicing and repair of ABB equipment; instruct customers in electrical theory and operation of ABB Drives; lead drive system commissioning projects.
• Consult with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance.
• Advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance and suggestions for product improvements.
• Learn ABB tools such as Drive Composer, Drive Windows, Control Builder, SAP, Concur, Outlook, Citi-Bank Travel.
