Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a field technician to test, inspect and maintain electrical power equipment across the upper Midwest. The role involves traveling 50–75% with union benefits and pension, testing high-voltage equipment, and supporting outages and emergencies.

Openings range from Level I through IV, with opportunities to lead apprentices and junior technicians. A valid driver's license and NETA certification or progress toward certification are required.

Qualifications

• NETA certification at any level or relevant electrical experience en route to certification.
• Experience with power factor or HV testing is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% for field assignments.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Pay & benefits:

$40.43–$53.91/hr. Daily overtime after 8 hours and double time after 10. Union medical and dental, union pension, per diem and hotel covered when traveling.
