Job summary

Your Talent Team in Minneapolis–Saint Paul, MN, is seeking a union field technician to test and maintain electrical power equipment across the upper Midwest. Openings range from Level I to Level IV, with competitive union benefits and a pension plan.

Responsibilities include testing, inspecting, and maintaining switchgear, breakers, transformers, and cable; running high‑voltage test sets; commissioning new installations and supporting outages; and mentoring apprentices and junior techs.

Qualifications

• HV testing experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50–75%.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

What you'll do

Pay & benefits:

$40.43–$53.91/hr. Daily overtime after 8 hours and double time after 10. Union medical and dental, union pension, per diem and hotel covered when traveling.
