Job summary

Martin Engineering seeks a Service Technician to deliver, install, and service Martin wear components on service routes. The role includes traveling, occasional nights away, and earning commission. Salary ranges from $28 to $42 per hour depending on skills and location.

Responsibilities include maintenance, reporting, route optimization, and safety compliance with OSHA/MSHA standards. Applicants should have a high school diploma, with preferred two-year technical training and some sales

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a two-year technical or vocational degree is preferred.
• Solid mechanical or conveyor maintenance background is beneficial, or relevant experience.
• Some sales background would be beneficial.
• Must be at least 21 years old with DOT-compliant driver qualifications if required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, maintain, install, and service Martin products on assigned routes.
• Communicate project status to supervisor, colleagues, and customers.
• Complete work promptly, including maintenance agreements in assigned territories.
• Provide daily sales transactions and documentation.
• Follow routes and schedules; keep warehouse and vehicle stocked and clean.
• Produce quotes and reports for conveyor products serviced in the field.
