Job summary

Martin Engineering is seeking a Service Technician to deliver, install, service and maintain wear components on assigned routes. The role supports sales by identifying opportunities and requires travel, including nights away from home.

The position is hourly with potential commission. A mechanical/maintenance background is preferred and a high school diploma is required, with a DOT-compliant driver record. Candidates must be 21+.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year tech degree preferred.
• A mechanical or conveyor maintenance background is beneficial; 1+ years' related experience helps.
• Some sales exposure is advantageous; willingness to travel as needed.
• Must be at least 21 years old with valid driver qualifications per DOT rules.

Responsibilities

• Delivers, installs, services and maintains Martin wear components on assigned routes.
• Coordinate with sales staff to identify service-driven sales opportunities.
• Provide quotes and reports for conveyor products serviced in the field.
• Ensure safety, neat work area and compliance with OSHA/MSHA regulations.
• Follow routes, schedules and maintain warehouse/vehicle inventory.
• Train assigned employees and supervise subcontractors as required.
