Job summary

Martin Engineering is seeking a Service Technician to deliver, install, service, and maintain wear components on assigned routes. The role requires travel, including nights away from home, and offers an hourly wage with commission opportunities.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a mechanical or conveyor maintenance background. Some sales experience is a plus, and DOT driver qualifications may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year technical or vocational degree preferred.
• Strong mechanical or conveyor maintenance background or related experience.
• Some sales background would be beneficial.
• Must be at least 21 years old; driver qualifications per Federal DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Delivers, maintains, installs, and services Martin products on assigned routes following safety guides.
• Communicates project status to supervisor and customers.
• Completes work independently to finish projects and maintenance agreements.
• Keeps routes, schedules, and inventory organized and up to date.
• Produces quotes and reports for conveyor products serviced in the field.
