Job summary

Martin Engineering is hiring a Service Technician to deliver, install, service, and maintain Martin wear components on assigned service routes. This hourly role includes the potential to earn commissions and requires travel, including nights away from home.

The position emphasizes safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork, with a salary range of $28 to $42 per hour depending on skills and location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred two-year technical degree.
• Strong mechanical or conveyor maintenance background beneficial.
• Some sales background beneficial; must be 21+ with DOT qualifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Delivers, maintains, installs, and services Martin products on assigned routes.
• Communicates project status to supervisor, peers, and customers.
• Generates quotes and reports for customers; maintains inventory and vehicles.
• Ensures safe operation and compliance with DOT policies and regulations.
• Trains assigned employees and ensures safety rules are followed.

Education

Two-year technical or vocational degree preferred
