Job summary

Performance Health is seeking Equipment Service Technicians to support our field service team. You will troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and inspect rehabilitation medical devices and exercise equipment to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

This role emphasizes hands-on mechanical work and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Travel daily within the assigned territory, lift 50+ pounds, and collaborate with the Service Coordinator to deliver reliable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience as a medical equipment and/or fitness equipment service technician.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Electrical/hydraulic and mechanical experience.
• Ability to travel daily within assigned territory.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Strong work ethic and proven track record.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs, calibrations, and maintenance per manufacturers’ and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare equipment, tools, and materials for installations and service visits.
• Manage exchange/return of electrotherapy devices and accessories needing repair or replacement.
• Verify equipment is fully operational and compliant before service visits.
• Communicate updates to the Service Coordinator/Manager for seamless service delivery.
• Complete service documentation, maintain inventory, and organize tools.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and suggesting enhancements.
• Support broader Service team with cross-functional collaboration on projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
