The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel within the territory daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience as a medical equipment and/or fitness equipment service technician preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Electrical/hydraulic and mechanical experience required.
• Ability to travel daily within assigned territory.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs, calibrations, and maintenance per manufacturers and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare equipment, tools, and materials for installations and service visits.
• Verify equipment safety and performance before service visits.
• Document service activities and maintain inventory and tool organization.
• Communicate updates with Service Coordinator/Manager and support cross-functional projects.

Performance Health is looking for Equipment Service Technicians to join our growing Field Service team. The Service Technician plays a critical role in supporting the reliability and safety of rehabilitation medical devices and exercise equipment used by customers. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and safety inspection of a wide range of products, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with all regulatory and manufacturer standards.As a valued technical professional, the Service Technician represents the company with a strong focus on quality, precision, and customer satisfaction. This role builds technical expertise through hands-on experience, mentorship, and manufacturer-supported training programs designed to enhance technical proficiency and professional growth within the Service function. Applicants should have a solid understanding of mechanical systems and be proficient with tools and equipment commonly used in repair work.
