Performance Health is seeking Equipment Service Technicians to join our Field Service team in the Denver area. The Service Technician role supports the reliability and safety of rehabilitation medical devices and fitness equipment through repairs, calibrations, and safety inspections to ensure optimal performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of service experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel daily

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs, calibrations, and maintenance per manufacturers, Federal, State, and BRH guidelines.
• Assess and prepare equipment, tools, and materials for installations and service visits.
• Manage exchange and return of electrotherapy devices and accessories requiring repair or replacement.
• Verify equipment is fully operational and meets safety and performance standards before service visits.
• Communicate with the Service Coordinator/Manager for updates and issue flags.
• Accurately complete service documentation, maintain inventory, and uphold tool organization.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing insights and suggesting process enhancements.
• Support the broader Service team on special projects or initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Performance Health is looking for Equipment Service Technicians to join our growing Field Service team. The Service Technician plays a critical role in supporting the reliability and safety of rehabilitation medical devices and exercise equipment used by customers. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and safety inspection of a wide range of products, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with all regulatory and manufacturer standards. As a valued technical professional, the Service Technician represents the company with a strong focus on quality, precision, and customer satisfaction. This role builds technical expertise through hands-on experience, mentorship, and manufacturer-supported training programs designed to enhance technical proficiency and professional growth within the Service function. Applicants should have a solid understanding of mechanical systems and be proficient with tools and equipment commonly used in repair work. This territory covers northern California. The candidate must reside in Stockton, Sacramento or Modesto.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs, calibrations, and maintenance in accordance with specific manufacturers, Federal, State, and BRH guidelines.
• Assess and prepare necessary equipment, tools, and materials to complete installations and service visits efficiently.
• Manage the exchange and return process of electrotherapy devices and/or accessories requiring repair or replacement.
• Verify equipment is fully operational and meets safety and performance standards before completing service visits.
• Communicate effectively with the Service Coordinator and/or Service Manager to provide updates, flag issues, and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Accurately complete service documentation, maintain inventory, and uphold vehicle and tool organization standards.
• Actively contributes to continuous improvement by sharing insights, identifying recurring technical issues, and recommending process enhancements.
• Support the broader Service team as needed, including cross-functional collaboration on special projects or initiatives.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience as a medical equipment and/or fitness equipment service technician.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Electrical/hydraulic and mechanical experience.
• Ability to travel daily within assigned territory.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Strong work ethic with a proven successful track record.

This is a full-time position with an hourly pay rate of $22.00 - $25.00 and the opportunity to earn bonus, plus benefits.
